FAQ

  • Although parties of up to seven diners don’t need to book a table to dine with us, we do recommend pre-booking, especially during our busier times on a Friday and Saturday.

    For tables up to 6 people, you can pre-book by calling the restaurant you would like to dine in or book online.

    Parties of seven or more must pre-book by using our Group Booking Enquiry Form.

  • For all bookings, you will be asked to provide card details which will be stored securely by our card processing provider - Stripe.

    You will receive an email from our payment processing provider once we have reserved your table asking for your card details. You will then have 24 hours to input your card details and secure your table.

    If you don’t show up for your booking and neglect to let us know you’re not coming, we’ll charge your card a β€˜no-show’ fee of Β£10 per person.

  • We have wheelchair access in our York: Fossgate, York: Tabanco by Ambiente ‴ and Hull: Humber Street restaurants.

    Our York: Goodramgate restaurant has two steps from the street to our bar area and a further two steps inside, leading to our dining area and disabled toilet.

    Unfortunately, we don’t have wheelchair access in our Leeds: The Calls restaurant due to the building layout.

  • Yes. We’re really proud of our large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Check our main tapas menu for more details or filter our dietary requirements menu by vegan or vegetarian dishes.

  • We do! Our restaurant staff are trained on the main allergens (as well as garlic and onion) as required by the Foods Standard Authority. Check our dietary requirements menu where you can filter by allergen or talk to your waiter when you arrive.

  • Yes! You'll find PDFs of all our current menus on our Download Menus page.

  • The sooner we know that you cannot attend the more time we have to offer your table to other diners. The Β£10 β€˜no-show’ fee is discretionary on our part and is not intended to penalise diners who have a genuine reason preventing them from attending. Contact us ASAP if you cannot attend your booking.

  • We regret that due to the terms of our Premise Licence we are not permitted to allow entry to unaccompanied minors (under 18 years of age) even if it is for food served without alcohol.

  • All our restaurants have unisex baby-changing facilities, except Leeds, where they are located in the ladies toilets.

  • We love welcoming your four-legged companions and have dog-friendly areas in our York: Goodramgate, Hull and Leeds restaurants.

    If your pooch pals are joining you on your tapas trip, just let us know when you book with us and we’ll make sure you’re sat in our dog-friendly areas.

    Unfortunately due to the layout of our York: Fossgate restaurant, we are only able to accommodate assistance dogs in this site.

  • No. All our locations are cashless. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

  • We recommend ordering three to four hot tapas dishes per person.

    It’s common to order a few dishes at a time and order a few more once you’re ready.

  • As in true Spanish fashion, we love a bit of al fresco dining!

    Our Hull restaurant has outdoor dining at the front of our restaurant so you can enjoy views of the Marina in the sunshine over tapas and sherry.

    Our Leeds restaurant has a balcony overlooking the River Aire which is perfect for whiling away a few hours.

    Our Fossgate and Goodramgate restaurants in York, unfortunately, don’t offer al fresco dining.

  • Yes! Tapas is perfect for large parties. Group bookings are available at all of our restaurants except York: Goodramgate.

  • We don’t currently offer a takeaway service. But watch this space β€” never say never, eh?

  • A 10% service charge is added to all our bills which is distributed equally amongst all of our team. If you’d prefer not to pay this, then please just let a team member know and they’ll be happy to remove this for you.

  • All our tips are distributed equally amongst all our staff members (excluding Senior Management). No deductions are made from the tips received and the payments are processed through a separate payroll platform and paid into our employees bank accounts on a weekly basis. Income Tax is deducted as this is an HMRC approved process.

    So, when you leave a tip you can be sure that it goes to the entire team, rewarding everyone who has contributed towards your dining experience!

  • We certainly do! Alcohol-free wines and beers have really increased in quality and popularity over the last few years and we’re proud to stock a range that we’ve tried, tested and love! From 0% Spanish beer, 0% sparkling wine and our virgin sangria, you can still enjoy these accompaniments to your meal without the alcohol! See our drinks menu for more details.

  • You certainly can! We have Restaurant Gift Cards and Tasting Experience Gift Cards available to purchase in our online store.

  • Buy a bottle of wine at any of our restaurants to take away and you’ll get 30% off the list price. We also have a great selection of Spanish wine and sherry gift sets available in our online shop
