Meet the Winemaker Tasting Experience: Felix Coloma

Join us as we welcome Felix Coloma, a third-generation winemaker from the esteemed Bodega coloma, for three incredible and delicious tasting events in February as he shines a light on Extremadura’s food, wine and traditions.

Extremadura is a remote and sparsely populated region full of untamed beauty and rich heritage. Although it borders Andalucia and southern Portugal, both close to many familiar holiday destinations, Extremadura remains a well kept secret, offering treasures that food and wine lovers are just beginning to discover.

Without a doubt, its most famous gift to the world’s foodies is the legendary Pata Negra pig. These Iberian pigs, raised on a diet rich in acorns and free to roam across vast landscapes throughout Extremadura, produce meat that’s revered worldwide for its unparalleled nutty flavour and quality.

Extremadura’s offerings don’t stop at its culinary exports either. Its wine scene, while less known than other regions (internationally at least) perhaps, it rivals Spain’s most celebrated regions. This is where Bodega Coloma shines.

Based in Badajoz, near the Portuguese border, Bodega Coloma has been crafting exceptional wines for generations. The Coloma family’s dedication to their craft is evident in every bottle, blending tradition with innovation to create wines that tell the story of their land. At this special event, Felix Coloma will guide us through five of his finest selections, each paired with a dish from our five-course Extremaduran-inspired tasting menu.

Cancellations

All ticket purchases are non-refundable. If you cannot attend and notify us at least 72 hours prior to the event, you may transfer your ticket(s) to a future event. Cancellations within 72 hours of the event are not eligible for transfers.
